2 Day - 1 Night Tour

Table Mountain National Park is the starting point of your 2 day & 1 night mountain biking adventure. Playground par excellence, a network of gravel roads traverse the steep slopes of the mountain. A combination of jeep track with some fun sections of smooth flowing single will keep you focused before heading south. The route along the Peninsula towards Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope is truly an unforgettable experience!

Still raving about the natural beauty of the Cape, today's riding will take you inland through the Cape Winelands, Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.

Nestled between the spectacular Simonsberg and Drakenstein mountains with their numerous streams and dramatic cliffs. Just fifteen minutes outside of Stellenbosch, is just another reason why the area has become a world renowned mountain biking destination.

Mean switchback climbs and smooth flowing descents such as Skyfall will put a big smile on your face!

Be focused there is a chance you will see the track of the shy Cape Leopard, you are also likely to ride alongside Eland and Wildebeest on the Game Trail.

Many of the trails featured in our 2 day mtb route are used on a number of races such as the ABSA Cape Epic.

JEEP & SINGLE TRACK WITH ROCKY SECTION

Early breakfast and ride through the picturesque town of Stellenbosch, with its charming character, historic architecture and oak-lined avenues, it is a must to visit on anyone’s itinerary.  The first farms were allocated before the end of 1679 and the village was formally established in 1685. Salut! A touch of France is coming our way in today’s ride as we will be heading toward Franschhoek. We will ride out of  Stellenbosch right into action through pine forest and up a single onto the Jonkershoek mountain.

From the top a series of single with take us down the Banghoekrivier valley.

The trails are a combination of fast jeep track; plenty single some requiring technical ability, through lush green fields, orchards and well-kept farmsteads.

Following the course of the Berg River, expect a rollicking ride before ascending the stunning Franschhoek Mountain slopes for the second serious ascent of the day, before yet another tricky descent towards Franschhoek.

Late afternoon transfer back to Cape Town

 Lunch excluded
