Your journey kicks off beneath the towering cliffs of Table Mountain, one of Africa’s most celebrated natural wonders. As the backdrop to Day 1, it sets the tone for a thrilling ride across technical terrain, scenic ridgelines, and heart-pounding descents. This isn’t just sightseeing—this is adventure riding with a view.

As the days unfold, you’ll carve your way through the Cape Winelands, where Stellenbosch and Franschhoek offer an exhilarating blend of rugged mountain trails, flowing singletrack, and steep vineyard-lined climbs. This region is a mecca for Mountain Biking, and for good reason—every trail offers a new perspective, every turn, a fresh thrill.
Conquer the Hidden Trails of the Overberg
Next, head south over the Overberg mountains, where a treasure trove of historic wagon roads and jealously guarded singletrack await. These lesser-known routes cut through remote Cape Nature Reserves, offering speedy switchback descents, challenging climbs, and panoramic views that few riders ever get to see.
Designed for the Passionate and the Brave
Each of the four rides is graded moderate to difficult, with a carefully balanced mix of technical singletrack, steep climbs, and rolling jeep trails. This tour is tailored for moderate-to-fit riders looking to push their limits while soaking in the raw beauty of South Africa’s diverse landscapes.
Experience the Cape from the Saddle
There’s no better way to discover this region than on two wheels. Saddle up and ride—because the Cape looks it’s best when viewed from the handlebars of your mountain bike.

The views from the top are epic, and the climb. A true test of grit and determination.

It’s the kind of descent that gets your heart pumping—literally. You might want to check your pulse or high-five your riding partner at the bottom!
Trail Variety and Wildlife Encounters
At the valley floor, we power through rocky terrain before crossing the Dwarsrivier, with stunning views of the Banhoek peaks keeping your spirits high. As you climb again, the Nick Nack singletrack delivers tight turns, rocky obstacles, and glorious bursts of fynbos. Passing through a game fence gate, we drop into a thrilling descent packed with ess-bends and sweeping curves—you’ll need to pin your ears back and hold your line.
Along the game trail, riders may spot Eland and Oryx, adding a wild, untamed edge to an already spectacular ride. The final stretch flattens out slightly, offering a mix of fast-flowing singletrack and jeep roads that guide us to our midday lunch stop at Boschendal.
